  1. Love this one. Very similar to my story. Originally an engineering major because of my success in STEM classes in high school. Parents thought this was where I should focus. Took me a year to realize I had no passion for engineering and it was reflected in my grades. Changed to accounting, loved it, grades improved and my future was set. Recently retired after a 37 year career in banking. Loving life. Didn’t think about it as a failure at the time, but now I do and it was the best thing that happened to me.

    • Mr. Bowers,
Thanks, I really appreciate it! I got the courage to talk about my failure because I knew I wasn’t the only one who has gone through this. I also know that some people are going through this same thing right now, and, if they happen to see my video, then maybe they will know that they’re not alone and everything will work out in the end. I am so glad everything worked out for you and you are loving life! Being happy and loving what I do is my ultimate goal. Thanks again for sharing your story and your kind words!
